The DH Hydronic Max 25 diesel hot water uses a diesel water furnace to heat 25L of coolant stored in an insulated steel tank. The glycol is maintained at 70 to 80 degrees by the furnace and is then used to heat water via a plate heat exchanger.
The system will heat up in less than 25min from cold and from that point delivers hot water on demand, even at very low flow rates – something an instant LPG heater cannot do.
The DH Hydronic Max 25 can be set up with either a Belief or Eberspacher furnace and is aimed at large vehicles and off grid houses where the DH Hydronic 12 cannot provide sufficient hot water.
The DH Hydronic Max 25 has the following features
- Uses a standard domestic 25L Rinnai hot water tank
- Insulated tank retains heat for efficient operation and will retain plenty of heat for a warm start after sitting overnight.
- Fast heat up time, under around 25min from cold
- Optional 2 hour run timer operated by push button to ensure it does not stay on beyond normal usage time.
- Retains the 2400W 240V heating element for hot water when power is available (furnace must be activated to get hot water).
- Integrated air heating (optional)
- Includes tempering valve to ensure hot water is always delivered at safe temperatures
- Hot water when off the grid with no LPG
- All units fully assembled and tested prior to dispatch
Pair the DH Hydronic Max 25 with a Bricor Ultra Max (2L/min) or Elite E (5L/min) low flow shower heads to have super water wise showers, great for a of grid house, motorhome or boat where water is limited.
By adding in a Kalori fan head, the Hydronic Max diesel hot water becomes an effective air heater, giving off up to 5kW of air heating from the single quiet Kalori Silencio 2 fan head.
Installation is simple. Connections to the water in and out, 12v power and a fuel line are all that is required.
Installation hardware including mounting brackets, high temperature silicon plate to get the exhaust through a floor are also available.
