The adaptor includes O’ring, and 2 low current thermostats, one to turn off the element when the tank reaches 85deg and a second manual reset thermostat to turn off at 90 degrees as a safety backup.
Combine with a solar diverter to use surplus solar power from your solar installation to provide free solar hot water.
Note: the thermostats supplied cannot be directly linked to the heating element, a 25A relay must be used.
