Can a Portable Heater Be Used Inside

Portable diesel heaters produce carbon monoxide, so they must never be used indoors.

Unfortunately, some overseas manufacturers promote unsafe use by showing their heaters operating inside, with just an exhaust pipe routed outside. This is dangerous. If the exhaust leaks or becomes disconnected, deadly carbon monoxide can still enter the space. Plus, the exhaust pipe reaches temperatures around 200°C—posing serious burn risks, especially to fingers, feet, plastics, flooring, and other materials.

Dieselheat portables are built to be used safely outdoors. They’re fully weatherproof and designed to perform in wind, rain, sleet, and snow. We supply heavy-duty TPR ducting rated to 120°C—tough, crush-resistant, and made for the job of getting your hot air inside.

Keep your portable diesel heater outside where it belongs – and stay safe and warm this winter!!!
