This mounting plate is 2.5mm thick stainless steel with a 50mm long ring (diameter = 142mm) to fit through the base of a caravan. The stainless steel ring offers protection for the floor edge from heat and moisture ingress, and is vastly superior to the 0.5mm flat galvanized steel mounting plates supplied with most diesel air heaters.
The mounting plate also has a small centering hole which allows you to accurately locate your heater cutout before cutting the hole in your floor.
