At Dieselheat, we’ve learnt that no matter how careful you are, it’s almost impossible to guarantee that moisture will never find its way into your diesel fuel tank. It can come from contaminated fuel, condensation, accidentally leaving the filler cap off, or even a loose fitting. Sometimes, things just happen on the road.
That’s why we’ve made some significant improvements to our wafer fuel tank to make it easier to manage water contamination and improve long-term reliability.
- Integrated Water & Sediment Trap – Captures water and contaminants at the lowest point of the tank before they can enter the fuel system.
- Integrated Outlet Strainer – keeps bigger debris in the tank and out of the fuel filter.
- Built-in Drain Fitting – Allows water and sediment to be drained from the tank quickly and easily without removing the tank from the vehicle.
- Upgraded Fuel Gauge – Features an improved plastic lens and enhanced waterproof sealing for greater durability and reliability.
- Optional Fuel Level Sender – Enables fuel level monitoring on the new Dieselheat V4 Thermostat and compatible third-party systems, including Redarc, Garmin and Victron displays.
