The Webasto 12L diesel fuel tanks use an automotive part from Volkswagen as a breather . This part is not UV stable and decays in the sun meaning after time it can break off. Webasto do not stock this as a spare part.
The Volkswagen part number for this breather is VCP-251201311B and it can be purchased on ebay etc.
