Genesis II Diesel Hot Water System with Belief Furnace


Genesis II diesel hot water system for marine, RV or caravan applications. It utilises an insulated glycol storage tank, inbuilt plate heat exchanger, diesel furnace and tempering valve to provide a steady flow of hot water.

The Genesis II hot water system utilises an insulated 12 litre glycol storage tank, inbuilt plate heat exchanger, diesel furnace and tempering valve to provide a steady flow of hot water. Once the unit has pre-heated the glycol, heat is instant and continuous.

This option includes a Belief furnace. We also have an option to fit the Genesis II with a genuine Eberspacher furnace.

The unit is shipped fully assembled, tested and ready to use.

The diesel water heater furnace heats a glycol coolant mixture which is then circulated to the tank. The tank has a plate heat exchanger inside it . When water is pumped through the system by your caravan or boat water pump the hot glycol transfers its heat to the water via the plate heat exchanger. A tempering valve is fitted to the hot water outlet and can control the water temperature from hot to warm.

In conjunction with our Bricor shower heads (2.36l\Min) the system can maintain (approx)  43°C water temperature for indefinitely.

To add air heating simply add one of our Kalori fan heads (1.7KW or 5KW).

Installation is simple. Connections to the water in and out, 12v power and a fuel line are all that is required.

A mounting plate, silicon plate and washers can also be included.




The pre-assembled and tested hot water system base kit includes:

  • insulated 12L hot water tank
  • Eberspacher or Belief furnace
  • tempering valve
  • fuel pump and fuel line
  • on/off toggle switch

Note: the system is not shipped with glycol. The purchaser is required to fill the tank using a standard automotive corrosion resisting glycol mix.

All water heaters sold by Dieselheat carry 24 MONTHS warranty from date of purchase. Warranty is return to base which means you are responsible for returning any defective heaters to us for repair.

If you have an issue every attempt will be made to fix it via phone or email. Warranty is on heaters only and does not cover any issues caused by installations performed by the customer or other parties. If we can’t fix any issues with heater operation over the phone or email then the unit and possibly other parts as we suggest to you depending on the issue must be returned to us using an Australia Post air bag at your expense.

On arrival at our premises we will set the unit up on our test bench to ascertain what problem has occurred. Any defects or issues with the heater will be fixed free of charge and the unit will be shipped back to you at our expense. If the unit operates without any problems it will be deemed an installation problem and this is not covered by warranty. Any costs involved in returning the unit to the customer is at your expense.

Please do not try to disassemble the heater yourself whilst it is still under warranty without consulting with Dieselheat.
